How make remap Joypad

Hi guys,
I have a lots of problems with the joypad.
How can I make a remap setting in my game?
Would like to the possibility to rebind the buttons like emulators...

What extension are you using for your joypad? If it is Joypad 2, I set up global values that are dedicated to each button and change those as needed to whatever button the player chooses. Then just read the global value as the button pressed for any conditions needed on button prompts.
