    Help with returning/bouncing proyectiles

    I want to make it so that when a proyectile hits the hitbox of my melee attack it changes the direction to where it came from or where the player is looking at, but the things I've done to try to make that happen don't seem to work.

    What I did was:

    "proyectile collides with hitbox" - "make proyectile bounce"

    But that doesn't do anything, the little things just keep passing through the hitbox like nothing was programmed at all.

    At the start I made the proyectiles have static type movement, and that didn't work, so I thought making them have bouncing ball movement would work, nothing, then I made it so that they were moving at start, nothing.

    I think it might be because of the way they're being shot;

    "on event" - "shoot proyectile at x direction at speed 10"

    But I'd rather be sure before making any changes and possibly breaking everything.

    Is there something I must do? Thanks in advance.

    This is correct, shooting/launching a projectile will make (as far as i know) make it ignore any built in movement it already has. If you wanted to keep events mostly the same, you could replace the event instead with "create an object" and use the same object instead.

    If it's a bouncing ball movement, it will get whichever direction you set in the editor. If you wanted it aimed at the player you could do something like having a second event like this:
    - IF Flag 0 of bullet is off
    -- turn flag 0 ON
    -- look at the direction of the player

    Something like that might work, I'll try it as soon as I can.
