I set up in an application a mechanic where if you press a certain key, a mouse is released and you take control of it. The problem is this: I have put in multiple layers in this app and now it's not working properly. It seems that the first controls group of events won't deactivate even thou it says to do so in the code. I'm not sure if it's that or if the mouse is being created in the wrong layer, but I'm attaching the MFA so you can see for yourself what's going on. Any way to fix this? And for the record, I've done stuff like this before, and it usually worked, so I know SOMETHING's wrong.
EDIT: I just tried it in a frame with only one layer. Didn’t work. I KNOW I got this working in this app before. I just don’t understand why it’s not working NOW.
