Android Screenshot broken in samsung one ui v2

The screenshot action is broken for the Samsung A70 android 10 one ui v2 update
it is probably affecting other samsung phones too
    No screenshot file is created
It was working fine until the one ui v2 update
Can you guys test the screenshot function in your samsung phones ?
Clickteam can you try to find the issue ?
When the screenshot action is called the app doesnt crash or anything it just doesnt produce any screenshot .png file

    OK i got new info

This bug is only happening when i export apk with Target android 10.0
If i select target android 9.0 then the screenshot action works correctly on Samsung A70 (which is running android 10 One UI version 2 ) and a screenshot is saved sucessfully

When testing on Xiaomi A2 lite ( Running Android 9 with March 1 , 2020 security update) the screenshot function works when targeting android 9.0 AND when targeting android 10.0 at apk compiling

Thus my conclusion is that the screenshot action is broken when targeting android 10.0 at apk compiling time and running the app on android 10 phones OR when compiling with android 10 as target and running one Samsung One UI v2 devices
(keep in mind i always tried to create a screenshot with .png at all times of testing)

Clickteam can you please fix this ? thanks

My CTF version is 292.22 with + dlc

I seem to have the same problem with Object capture. When i take a picture with android 10 as compile target i get an error :

CAM_StateSavePic: exception while saving result to URI: Optional.of(file:///data/user/0/com.yourcompany.yourapplication/cache/IMG_20200522_133604_7434114099278978695.jpg)
    05-22 13:36:07.428 7830 7830 E CAM_StateSavePic: java.io.FileNotFoundException: open failed: EACCES (Permission denied)

When targeting android 9.0 it works.

mm seems that it is asking for write permission in data folder, this is very strange, in this data storage in an external sd card?

    Hi @Fernando ,

    Yes it's tested on emulator.
I gave ALL Read and Write persmissions i found, but it didn't resolve the problem.
I ejected the virtual sdcard. But the problem is the same, it tries to write elsewhere with permission error.

I googled and it seems that it's related to a change in behavior introduced by google for API level 29 and beyond. As i understand, the READ WRITE permissions are no more taken into account by the system and new access methods mut be used.

Here is a thread i found:

Fernando in my case the sd card is not involved at all , the picture is supposed to be written to the internal storage inside the pictures folder ,i never had problems with this directory before thats why i am using it

New beta will have updates for the deprecated method when getting directories, BUT we are talking about datastorage.

they according to android don't need permissions

please add this inside your manifest in the application block

    <application ...

    android:requestLegacyExternalStorage="true"

just to be sure notice that they clearly point to externalstorage NOT your case, but let it try to see if fix this issue.
