    spike walls disappearing after a while

    so in my game when the player shoots at the spike walls the walls get pushed back and it works for a while but then after a few times they get pushed back but dont come back. how do i fix this? game.mfa

    Try un-ticking destroy if too far from frame. It might be the problem.

    @aenever yeah it seems to work thank you! but one more question, when the player gets under the spike walls it doesnt always take the heart away. like, if you try to get underneath the walls they dont affect your heart and idk if i used the right action for it.

    It because once the walls are on your player the condition for taking a life is only true if there is a collision. So for the first two times it takes a life yet as the collision is still a true condition it won't trigger again until the spikes are off your player. Here's a simple work around:

    ah ok. i actually had a similar action but mine went like: it when overlapping every 1 second run this event once and then subtract 1 from counter.
