How to get Global value by name?

Is there a way to call global value from expression by name or is it limited to glob.val(number) only?? My try did not work. I'd like to work with combined string/ name to get global value, so I change certain parts of string on runtime and access the different global value under the loop. Looks like Fusion does not support this? Or I am doing something wrong.

It requires fixed name of existing value as expression, just wonder if I can get it by name during runtime.
