    Selected object to new frame

    Hello guys, I'm looking for some advice with transferring some of the objects to new frame.

    The idea is, that player selects only few cards from a deck and by pressing start, a new frame starts with only the selected cards. I came up with this: I would use global values on cards and when starting a new frame, I would create all the cards, then destroy the ones without correct values.

    But I think it can get messy with a lot of different cards. Surely there must be some other way to achieve this. Arrays maybe?

    Thanks for any nudge in the right direction

    I'm still learning click fusion, but I offer my opinion.
    My approach would be to change the frame VIEW rather than change the frame.

    There are several tuts that teach how to scroll and change frame views (the platformers).
    These two show how to set it up as "rooms" not moving coninuously.

    Good Luck.

    edited to add: I set up something like this where I used an invisible detector that the camera follows. My code moves the detector when I want to change the frame view.

    arrays look like a good choice, or ini and the groups. you might want to take a look at Associative array too, it can store values by keys (names).

    Attached are two examples:

    1. Selection - uses Global Values, is more manual, but gives you more control especially with placing the cards.

    2. Selection_Arrays - uses an array and is more automated.

    @Fenris ,
    If you don't have it working in a few days, and want to do the Frame Views option, let me know and I'll pull my code into an example.
    I won't have time to do that until after I get my own little project completed. I'm hopeful that will happen for me today or tomorrow.
