    Flipping a Path Movement?

Hi folks, heads up, I'm a rank newcomer to Fusion so forgive me if these are easily answered questions, but I've had little luck searching online for a solution so....

I'm in the process of developing mechanics for a future fighting game, and after practicing a number of tutorials and looking at Chaos Fighter, have made a Shoryuken-like move.

I did this by having the character sprite over the Collision Box disappear on pressing a button, then spawning a new Active which follows a preset Path Movement to leap into the air, taking the Collision Box up with it before being destroyed at the end, the original character then reappears and drops back down to the ground.

Visually it looks great, however, the Path Movement only moves to the right of the screen, even when moving/facing left?

Is there a way that I can flip the movement that it goes to the left as well? As mentioned, visually it works great and I'd like to use this method for a few moves, including throwing enemies.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if you're aware, yet you can make multiple movements amd rename them if you like. One could be for facing right, and the other for facing left. Just note the movements start at zero and then count up. My first movement is 'Right Movement' therfore it's referenced as movement 0. My next movement is 'Left Movement' therfore it's referenced as movement 1.

I would like to see a demo of what you come up with. Best of Luck.

Hi Aenever, I was kinda aware of multiple path movements, but it hadn't occurred to me as a possible solution?

I'm taking a look at the example file and figuring out the interface, something that jumps out at me though is these path movements are very simple, what I've created is rather complex, an arcing path with frames playing at different times in it to get the full effect of the special move, I don't know if there's a way I can copy/paste the path so it's exactly the same, only facing the other way?

Naturally I want it to work the exact same way in the other direction, and the only method I can think of doing that right now, is screen shotting the current path, flip and place it on a backdrop, then use it as a point of reference to line the nodes up on the other side? This might work but seems very time consuming and unnecessary...

    Thanks

Unfortunately there’s no copy paste for paths and there’s definitely no way to mirror it. Best of luck, your solution sounds like it will work perfectly albeit it will take a lot of time.

Alright, I'll give it a shot, see how it works.

I'm actually fine with a little bodging if need be, I'd just prefer to know if there's any sort of 'official' way to work around issues when I encounter them, no doubt I'll be asking many more questions in future so keep a look out

    Thanks for your advice
