Question Question for Clickteam team RE event groups

    Hello

Just wondering if anyone (seemed like a good question for the devs) knows if there is any show-stopping technical reason why event groups can only be activated by choosing their name in the picker, and not by expression? If not, would it theoretically be possible to build an extension that allows someone to do so?

I ask because if that is possible in theory, I am thinking of putting money on the table and paying someone to make an extension that allows just that. It would be incredibly helpful!

    Thanks!

Not sure if there's any technical reason for it *but* if you're looking for a workaround, you could call a fast loop using a string from an expression, and have that fast loop activate/deactivate groups as necessary

Ah yep that is what I'm doing currently, it's not quite as elegant though

    thank you!

I hope if we ever see CTF3 that this feature is built in, feels like a no-brainer!
