I use crossover to run fusion on mac book pro when im away from my win10 desktop. Codeweavers also make a linux version. I imagine it will work just as well on linux. Both the Standalone and the Steam versions work for me. I normally run standalone though because steam is meh. I have run steam inside crossover and Fusion inside steam with DLC included. I don't like having to mess with things like wine. so let codeweavers do the heavy lifting for me on the setup and update side. It is a paid solution but worth it imoho. I have never seen Fusion load so fast on windows as it does on mac crossover too its mad. WiNdOwS BaD lol
They have a free demo. Paid comes with updates for a year then you just keep the version your last on until you subscribe again. Heres a link https://www.codeweavers.com/crossover#linux
I was aware of Codeweavers for linux and Wine for linux. But I understand perhaps running MMf2.5 native on linux was going to be possible. Oh well I'm sure whatever Clickteam updates are coming will be great. They always are.
Well not even the "official" MacOS version of Fusion is running natively.
Only Fusion 3 will be able to run in all operating systems natively.
Yes that is what I understand. I look forward to new product releases as Clickteam see fit. They always provide great support and products.
Thank you all for the continued convo on this. Sorry it took me so long to respond, life got nuts for a bit there. I will check out Codeweavers and see if it works.
