Daily notifications Android

Good evening,

I'ld like to add in my app a daily local notification system, I know it is possible in Android; but I don't know how to do it .
Do you know if it is feasible with the Android Control Object (I've seen there was a notification action) ?

I'd like to learn about this also. Temple Run among others use this. It's a nice add-on. For example Cover Orange does this with notifying you that they "miss you" or that they added a new level. It's definitely a cool thing if it can be done with Fusion 2.5!!!

It's not possible as apps builded with Fusion can't start automatically at predefined hours or at phone's boot. The only possibility to send a notification is while the user is running/playing the app, but unless he run it daily, you will not be able to send him daily notifications.

Actually, it must possible, I don't need to start the app every day to send notifications. With Android you can schedule local notifications with the Alarmmanager intent. In fact, I just have to learn how to use this intent with fusion.

Are they called push notifications? There's got to be a way. Maybe someone from CT will chime in. It would great to be able to do this as you can send notices for updates, or reminders that the user hasn't played the game in a curtain amount of time and so on. But, there's never an easy way. I'm sure it's very complicated!!

well in that case you need set alarm and trigger a notification from a service since the application is not running, we are working in several extension.
