    Talking I did it - I (almost) maxed out the Alterable Values!

    I've just finished my enemy system. Every enemy in the game will now use a single 'omniEnemy' object, which can handle every type of enemy behaviour: navigation, AI, chasing, flying, shooting, etc. It took me the best part of a year - maybe more. And just in the nick of time - If I'd added anything else to it, I would have run out of AltVals! Out of the 260 available named AltVals, I've used up about 255 or so (plus all 32 flags). I never thought I'd come anywhere near this limit, but now that I have I feel like I should get some sort of certificate

    This was far easier before the increase, having to split it in two or more objects was a pain!

    Really impressive! Is there any chance that you will put up your enemy for sale like volCAM? Seeing the high quality of your other products for sale, I would be an interested purchaser of that

    @vSv Thanks for saying that, but no, I won't. It's tightly connected to the needs of my own game and would probably take me a very long time to convert for public use.

    I'm working exclusively on structural stuff at the moment (eg. the enemy engine, though not yet enemy graphics). There's still a lot of structural stuff to do. Once it's all done, I'm moving on to graphics, animation, level design. Then there'll be a new demo. Probably mid 2022 at the earliest though.
