    HIDE AND SEEK - No Extension "Giving sight to Enemies!"

    This was a quick Idea to give sight to enemies. I may add more to it like a rotating head with a view radius. I just used the default Library objects for now to demonstrate.

    As of right now...
    Tiny invisible dots are created and launched in the direction of the Enemy for now. If the dot manages to touch any part of the player. The Enemy can see the player and runs towards the player. Objects in the way destroy the dots, so the Enemy can not see the player.

    Simple but effective.

    Well, I decided to add the rotating head with a view radius by simply using another object that is wider. Detection is awesome now!

    Thank you and you're Welcome.

    I think next I am going to make the sight have distance as well using the frames as a counter.

    I.E. Frame 2 destroy. Then distance can be controlled by the animation speed of the active being launched. This way the enemy can see only so far.

    I may work on a 2d platform style chase function using this Sight Idea. Basically, if I implement this into a side scrolling game. You could actually have enemies run, jump and climb after the player. You could also make them avoid holes in the ground when searching for the player. Ladders could be implemented via the Sight Object overlapping the ladder and the Player's Position Y is less then the enemies Position Y.

    I.E.

    Player is at Y 200 and Enemy is at Y 400. If the Enemy see's the Ladder. Then the Enemy will go to the ladder. Once the enemy is over the ladder. The Enemy will climb the ladder.
    However, if the Player is at Y 400 and the Enemy is at Y 400. Then the Enemy will walk right past the ladder without caring about it.

    The thing I would change is to make it go to the last seen position and predict the direction the player went based on the last direction it was going.
