Working on a Hole in one PUTPUT Game for Android

Using the built in Pinball Movement in MMF2.5DEV, I created this little fun game.

So far, I feel as though the Pinball movement is going to be a nightmare as sometimes it sticks to the walls. I think this has to do with memory, because if I run the game as a Windows based .exe and not through the Development engine. No issues as shown below. However, sometimes Running it within the Development Engine ( MMF2.5DEV ) and always with a Screen Recorder. The Ball will stick to walls as it slows down. Even though the ball is supposed to bounce.

Anyway, I will figure something out unless someone knows a better way to get Fine Detection to do it's job always.

Here is the Preview of the First Hole. Graphics are still being worked on for this course.

Do you have View action point and View hot spot in each Object Editor's centered vertically and horizontally? Try that and see if it helps.
For objects that are only going to be touched by another object on one side, you can try experimenting which Action spot or View hot spot works best.

Have you tried toggling precision detection off and on? Anti-aliasing on or off per object?

Have you tried changing the randomness number and allowed directions of the object to bounce? Tried lowering the speed, gravity and such to get results you are happier with?

The pinball choice can be like a cat and decide how it wants to handle bounces and such weirdly. You could try the physics options as a separate build and see if that helps.

Yup, everything is centered with Precision detection on. I tried it with off and it worked roughly the same.
I even made sure the ball was exactly odd in size so the Hot Spot and Action Point where Dead Center.

I will try the Anti-aliasing as it seams when I turn that off using gimp to draw the borders. It tends to stick less in the game. No blend to deal with for MMF2.5DEV with it off.

Typically the ball sticks to corners and sticks to slightly angled surfaces. Straight to 45 angles is no issue. Even straight to 25 angles is no issue. It's when there is an incline and the ball is traveling roughly in the same direction and gets stuck. Even though according to MMF2.5DEV the speed is still there. Basically the ball is floating until the speed stops. Then it is fine again. So odd!

I tried a Pinball example with physics, but it had it's own set of weird issues and honestly. This one I am working on is far less annoying try and fix the issues with the original Pinball movement. LOL

Thanks for the input. I will give some of your ideas a go.

Okay, so what I found to work a ton better is to not use the Auto Transparency input of MMF2.5DEV and Manually make the transparency in the Active Editor with MMF2.5dev. Also, I found that if you remove and double pixel and make it one pixel for angles. There seems to be no hanging up now. Basically, circles cause the biggest problems as when the radius is created. You go from one pixel to however many in a radius as the circle turns. I have no clue why this helps out a ton but it does.

Pictures below of what worked and what didn't.

Did not work using the Default Alpha Channel ( Caused the Ball to Hang on corners a ton more then now ).

While this is not a 100% fix for the Sticking issue. It has Reduced it by 90%. The sticking still happens but only at high Speeds.

Hopefully this helps some of you using the Pinball Movement.

    Now back to the game.
