Question Are Sub-Apps within apps multi-threaded?

I've got a two player game which is basically an app with 2 sub-apps containing a different frame. I've noticed that if I use a set random generator seed and give no user input the randomized actions differ each time I use run as application.
Could this be because it's multi-threaded or something?

It is not too much of an issue but I would like to program a replay function eventually that just records your inputs but this might make it desync

^ The main frame also sends over certain global values from these sub-apps between them

There's no multi-threading in subapps in MMF2. One full frame of each subapp is executed per loop of the parent application, and paused when its paused. As to why a random seed would differ, it could be that the order the subapps are using that random pool is non-deterministic. Is it always the same if you only invoke the RNG in a single frame, and not the other?
