Fusion 2.5 free for Mac

Hello,

I usually use 2.5 prof in my Windows desktop, but I recently bought a Mac air (M1) to carry around. I thought it would be a good idea to install the Mac free version there so I could do all the graphic part of my projects on the go and then transfer that files to the pc to do the testing and programming.
I download the installer and installed it but when I try to run it nothing happens. The system says that the application is open but the I still see my desktop and the program is not minimized.
I would like to know if the program is compatible with my Mac (last version of the OS)

Fusion is 32bit and apple has dropped support in Catalina.
There is an old thread about this years ago but the solution provided by Simon is using VM like parallels.
