    Build 294.1 - Beta version

    Hello,

    The build 294.1 is available in the Product Owner's Lounge forum. Testers are welcome!

    Change log

    Here is also a document that highlights the new features of this version.

    Sorry for the long wait, it was a huge work and the last months were busy. I didn't visit this forum for some time, I'll try to catch up as I'll have more time now.

    Notes:

    - there is no beta on Steam yet and there won't be probably before 9~10 days, both for practical reasons and we need to see first how this beta is performing for everyone.

    - some changes affect the content of MFA files so make backup copies of your MFA files before loading them with this version.

    - MFA files are still compatible with previous builds (though if you load and re-save them with a previous version, you'll lose value order, included frame index, etc).

    - there is a couple of known random refresh issues in the picture editor, especially when it's maximized, and mostly incorrect image icon background in the frame list sometimes when you modify an image. This will be fixed asap. There is also another known issue in the Transition Setup dialog box, parameter controls do not use the current skin, not sure if this one will be fixed. Tons of changes have been made to integrate the new UI library, everything else seems OK now but if you see other refresh or UI issues, let us know, this beta seems pretty solid.

    If any question or issue specific to this build, please post it here, thanks!

    In case of problem you can reinstall any other version (no need to uninstall first, just reinstall the patch of the build you want to reinstall).

    PS: the CF 2.5 patch updates all the installed exporters, as well as the 2.5+ DLC, you do not need to reinstall them.

    Update, known issues:

    - the Create Object actions ignore the movement's initial direction in the Windows runtime. This issue is fixed and a new version has been uploaded. Same links.

    - the new "Create Object At" and "Create Object By Name At" actions only exist in the Windows runtime, sorry for this. If possible a new version will be uploaded today (not 100% sure).

    First go with the template frames, global objects, behaviours ... wow! Working really well together.

    This is going to save a HUGE amount of time when making a game with lots of screens. Thank you so much for adding this feature. I'm going to have to watch the video again to see what else is new (and re-read that change log).
