    Active-X Object missing Actions

    Hi all,

Using Fusion to host a commercial ActiveX control, but the control's initialization method is missing from the list of "Custom Actions" so I'm at a dead end.

Wondering if there's still a way to get it to run.

    Cheers.

FWIW to work around the issue I'm writing a new wrapper Active-X control in VB to encapsulate it and only exposing a few methods and functions to Fusion.

Well, that's not working either. None of the events or functions that I made public in my active-x control show up in Fusion. Only methods and functions that take no parameters are displayed.

I'm truly at a loss as to how to proceed here. If anyone has any experience getting Active-X to work in Fusion I'd love to hear how you overcame these issues.

Since you got access to VB, how about using it as an ActiveX host?

That's what I tried to do. Unfortunately I was not able to get VB to communicate with Fusion.

No, I meant purely in VB, without Fusion.

For functionality I could do that. But I wanted to use fusion's graphics and sound engine for the UI.
