XBOX Gamepad Object is not working correctly when I'm plugging/unplugging the gamepad

The conditions don't work, but it shows that the gamepad itself is connected. Only rebooting the pc helps, after that everything works again. I'm using a Logitech F310 gamepad with Xinput on. Is there such a problem with the original Xbox controller?

Weirdly, I'm using the same xbox object and the same logitech gamepad and I've never had issues with unplugging it and reinserting it. I did used to get that issue before though with the Joystick 2 object (which is why I started using the xbox object in the first place). the gamepad is in xinput mode too, I was wondering what that switch on the back did

I think it might have had something to do though with steam's built-in controller handling though, mine is currently set to "switch controller" because of issues I had with button mapping in another (non fusion) game

Maybe its got something to do with the drivers? Do you have the latest drivers installed for the gamepad flamenko?

    You're Welcome.
Maybe it has something to do with the Logitech Controller Driver's. I.E. When you flip the switch, prior to connecting the controller versus flipping the switch while connected!
Who knows for sure without messing with both the controller and the computer.

You could try the built in Microsoft Controller properties to see if Windows itself is seeing the switch from Controller to XBOX Controller.

Last but not least, there is a FREE Download for XBOX 360 Controllers / XBOX 360 Dongle. Maybe Installing that will help the Logitech work better? I.E. Actually Drivers for the XBOX 360 Controller versus the Logitech version.
