Okay, I am not sure why I can't figure this one out. However, I am stuck for some reason.
Basically I want to open a .txt file by clicking an area within the Fusion made app.
I tried using the EXECUTE AN EXTERNAL PROGRAM feature, but the Command line does not seem to have any Linking abilities. Basically it just wants me to input the Command in the code. Which I want to link it to the String that is the full length of the file.
Basically the app allows for user to create their own files by the INPUT OBJECT and the STRING is changed to whatever they input.
I.E. C:\VBE\my file.txt
I just want them to be able to simply click the STRING area and that file pop open without any other type of object to go through.
I.E. Using the Fusion Explorer or using the file OPEN DIALOG options via the FILE OBJECT.
Any help would be great. If I figure it out myself. I will post the answer as well for other users.
Thanks in advance!
