It's happening to lots of softwares these days, even other big game engines are being completely removed by antivurses...
Use Unpacked EXE option, it exports the app in separated files, meaning it won't need to extract stuff to temp folders, which makes it much less suspicious to antiviruses.
Bitdefender has started to Quarantine exe builds. Says infected with : with Gen:Variant.Mikey.142410 ... Its easy to restore the file though would never send it to any one. This is on the latest beta.
Tried to build unpacked EXE after and no option to save as unpacked even with the checkbox ticked under Windows tab maybe a bug.
Using Fusion dev latest beta
Are you using build 294.10? As far as I'm aware a new beta version hasn't come out yet at the time of typing this. 294.10 is the official Release version.
Also, as long as you have the "Unpacked EXE" checkbox ticked under the Windows tab, the built EXE should be the unpacked version. You can still use the normal 'Build > Application' menu option when the Unpacked EXE option is enabled.
Yes I am using build 294.10 my bad ( just feels like fusion is always in beta lol ) Restarted Fusion and unpacked exe worked.
Glad to hear it's working now.![]()
Hi, thanks,
this is for now the only method? I prefer to distribute the games with just one file :/
Well, you can always pay a security company to digitally sign your application, but even that is not 100% guarantee and it can be very expensive...
You could make a installer for you app as well.
Can I back the old version of Clickteam Fusion (Steam Version)? This problem is about only the new update, my old build working still well :0
Well, there is a way to download old Depots of apps you own on Steam and use that...
But it's just a matter of time, even apps built with MMF2 or even MMF1.5 can trigger antiviruses these days.
It's not necessarily Fusion that changed, it's the antiviruses databases and heuristics.
