Does the "delete key" option in add reg key just delete that key?

Am I right in that the option "delete key" when adding a registry key; if ticked the key specified is deleted?

I just want to double check this as this is not mentioned in the help file.

In theory it depends if a value is specified. If so, it removes the specified value, otherwise it deletes the entire key including any child key.
