[]BrandonC, I dont understand why having all the animations listed is a problem.[/]

He doesn't like them all being listed because it clutters up the list, making it harder to find what you're looking for.

I personally hate the new editor, it feels so cluttered and useless compared to the editor from 1.5. The closest interface comparison I can think of is GIMP to Photoshop.

Well as I suggested I think a clear button above the animation list could change that.

Somebody has also suggested a floating window for the preview. I would also suggest maybe a button to toggle between the preview and drawing area. (ie- default means you see the drawing area, and if you click the button then the drawing area disappears and the preview area is in its place)

He's correct about the clutter part. No matter how little it might take on the file size, the clutter is very annoying. I only want the animations that I put in. Not all my objects are players or enemies! Even then, not all my characters have crouch, running, jumping, etc. I hate the fact that they are there anyway. It's annoying. :-(

That is exactly how I feel.

    Here is my perfect world...-
Having it so that MMF 2.0 can open up my 1.5 editor and I can directly save to MMF 2.0. Then I can use the 1.5 editor and not have the clumsiness and clutter of the 2.0 editor.

Here's my perfect world, the MMF 2.0 editor gets hammered into being more like the 1.5 editor minus the bugs soon, I was really hoping they were just remaking the 1.5 editor for 2.0
