    a better bouncing ball?

hey, clickteam; i must ask, are there any plans for an extention or new movement thing that will like the bouncing ball but with more than 32 directions? I ask because the bouncing ball movement handles angled bounces very well, and it'd be great of there was a movement just like that but with more directions. just asking before i go and create my own custom movement.

I dont think Clickteam would make a better bouncing ball movement, but someone could easily make an edit of the bouncing ball movement that supported 360 directions.

well, i'm not asking for one; just wondering if anybody's planning to make one. one could always just code thier own engine for it with simple trig, but like the Advanced Platform object of olde, it'd be a great addition and save people a lot of time. anyways, if any extention developers are planning to make one, let us know. i know a lot of people would like to hear it.

I imagine with the movement SDK for MMF 2 we'll see a tweaked or new bouncing ball movement at some point along with many others.

I can't wait to see what comes out of this SDK. <img src="/center/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Until then, it would be best to code your own 360-degree bouncing ball movement using trigonometry and loops. It's actually not that hard to do. I'm making one myself right now.
