    Nice.

    Just a thought: With the layers feature, you could just use a quick backdrop as the black area, without having a huge active object to cover the whole screen; Would likely improve performance on a larger frame.

    Stuckboy: Yes, the hardest part was trying to find a light source gradient that didn't washout the background too much. And still give the effect of light.

    Will try to layering with Quickbackdrop.

    -&gt;Hey I tried it with the quickbackdrop and I get slowdown. I think layers are slower...

    Car with Headlights

    O.k. Here is a zipped file. It contains how to do a car w/headlights.

    Unfortunately to get it to fit I had to reduce the directions of animation of both the headlight lightsource and the car directions to 8. So please change them back to 32 directions for the full effect.

    Plus I think the Active object "night-time shroud" is the best way to do it. I haven't tested and of the speed enhancing features of MMF 2.0 I wanted to get the fastest results and save those for the game you could make.


    You could easily change this to a man with a flashlight too.
