Yeah, that's something I'll have to do - play around with photoshop - I don't think I'll ever manage to do good-looking graphics pixel by pixel, especially not smooth alpha channels =P
It'll be interesting for me to see if I can make decent graphics with a drawing tablet, I'm thinking of getting one...
