    Installation Errors

So... When I received my copy of MMF2, I put the first CD in my computer, only to remember that my CD rom drive has a broken motor, so I have no CD rom drive. I then think [wait... I'll drag the installer onto my old computer and transfer the installer and the other files to my USB-memory-stick.]
So I do just that. The installer works fine, until "internal error." So I'm pretty screwed. But wait!!! Perhaps it's because the USB stick isn't drive D...

So after a half-hour of changing things around, I get my USB stick to be drive D:.

Still internal error. All the files are copied, all smack-dab in the D drive... So I try installing it on the old compy and then dragging the installed files from my old computer onto the USB stick, then deinstalling it from my old computer. But then it's all "This hasn't been properly installed. Please reinstall the program."

    ...

    !

What should I do? I really don't want to have to buy another CD rom drive... or use my old computer.

    Two options:
    1. Temporarily move the cd drive to your new PC
    2. Temporarily move your hard drive to your old PC

    Huh?

Yes, I know that CD’s will soon be obsolete, but they’re not yet, and a computer without one is going to be limited.

Why don’t you take the CD drive out of your old computer and put it in your new one?

    :\

    Looks like Joshtech posted first.

I thought of those ideas, but the new computer is a laptop.

    Re: Installation Errors

I think you will need to get it fixed then - or find an external CD drive.

You could also try e-mailing Clickteam with your MMF 2 Serial Number, they may be able to sort out some sort of download for you. No promises though, I'm not Clickteam!
