Vortex:
Sorry, that was directed more towards those who were giving their views on how you should price the extension, not you

Have you given much thought into the features in each version? Would be nice to see a list or table to compare them, but I don't mean to rush you <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

[]The payment is relative to the amount of work that has been required, not to previous extensions. I just got done writting the code base that I am going to be using in the extension, and that alone took a few weeks to create. Using ODE for 2d was an area that had very little information and even less code.

A few weeks? And I assume only a few more to finnish. You're asking a price that is equal to entire STAND-ALONE products. Full 3DGamemaker, FPS Creator, Most Games that took YEARS to develop. Not weeks.
$50-60 is too much for an extension for MMF. You didn't even make it from scratch, you're using an existing code set.
Hopefully you change your mind and make 2 version, free along with a $20 or so full version.

Then don't buy it at all. Do you even know how much the Havoks Engine costs? Do you know how much the license of MP3 usage costs? Do you know what most development kits cost?
The examples you took (3D Game Maker, FPS Creator and most games) are, sorry to say, stupid to point out. 3DGM and FPSC both don't give you enough freedom as MMF2. Let alone freelance C++ programming. You are forgetting that creating those "games" that took years to develop, also require gold-creditcard software.
Because it's for MMF2 doesn't mean it has to be free or "cheap". Vortex2 is actually adding an entirely new niveau. And because he uses existing code doesn't mean it's an easy development task. Game engines aren't even free.

@MetalGEO: I've been in the games industry a long time. He is making an add-on that is not 100% his, that he has only spent weeks on to this point, and he's charging for a full-product.
Havok is FAR more advanced, featured, has a TON of tools included and is done by a large team. MMF is NOT popular. It is an indie game maker and there are better solutions out there.
I have no problem with him charging for it, but he's asking too much.
