Yep, I haven't done any level editors either. It's pretty nice example, keep it up.

I have been trying to think of a way to make a wavy water effect (like water viewed from the side)... [/]

Is this what you were trying to do? (attached file)

You can add the water wherever you want, just make sure there is grass below it.
It is also possible to create water tiles above each other so that the water is "higher", although you probably want to change it so that it paste the lower water tiles into background, so there will not be not too many actives.

Anyway, neat leveleditor! It could perhaps be easier to implement new objects for it, I had to try and fail a couple of times before I got it right

Umm... How do you make the "Player" move, really? He doesn't have a movement, or a custom one...

Nice water effect! I'm trying to make an example of a dynamic water effect, like water you could drop stuff into and it would ripple realistically. So far I've only got it so there can be one wave at a time... :\

Anyway, that'll be an example completely separate from this one. Once I get it done, I'll post it. Although that could be a while.

Look in his behavior. He moves by adding and subtracting to his X and Y coordinates. If a specific comment is confusing, let me know and I'll try to explain it better.
