Request: Is Facing condtion, Turn Towards action

    2 requests:
It would be extremely useful if there was an Active Object condition to see if the object's direction was facing another object (you could use a range or number of degrees or the direction selector to specify how wide the cone can be for it to pass). It's a simple formula, but not one you can do easily in the existing event/condition framework. As it is now, I have to do the math manually in 8 different events each with 5 or 6 conditions... and it's not exactly precise.

This would be extremely useful for AI - knowing when you're facing something (or facing away) would be great for deciding when to move, fire, turn, etc.

Which brings me to my second request: turn toward. There's already a look at, but that's instantaneous. I'd like the option to specify how many degrees it can turn that frame (or number of directions, whatever) so that it doesn't turn instantly. This would be great for AI turning to face you and for tracking missiles.

You don't need the direction calculator to do "turn towards." I just uploaded an example that does this in 360 degrees, although you could just as easily make one for 32. You can view the thread here.
