    Basic Blowfish object problem

I've never used this object before, and I'm a bit tired, so maybe that's it.
    But here's what I'm doing.

[List]Add Line-> EncryptString$( "Blowfish Object", "mykey", "this is a secret")

This adds a line with the text "this is a secret". Why isn't it the encrypted text I expected?

Did you add the key in the actions?

    Re: Basic Blowfish object problem

But I thought the first parameter was the key? If that's not the key, what is it?

    Edit:
OK, now I'm doing the action: Blowfish->Add Key "NACHO" before that encrypt string action, but the result of an unencrypted string remains...

From what I remember, you have to add an encryption key with the "Add an encryption key" action before you can use it. You still need the specify the key in the expression.

    Re: Basic Blowfish object problem

Oh, I get it now. So I have to add a string key, and then supply that same string at the time of encryption. Seems a bit silly, but it works now!
    Thanks. <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
