    Re: Exporting to Flash

I still say that exporting to flash would be nice but promoting the V-Cade and starting other online game sites using Vitalize games, then get them up there in the search engines that could give vitalize a chance too.

Yes, an MMF to Flash export for even easy stuff would be nice, but what’s the point? I use simple freeware, logo-free flash on my site.

    Re: Exporting to Flash

surely someone could make an MMF2 > Flash extension. It would mean that we could have our games published on miniclip and loads more game sites. It would also mean that we could have our games without download on our own sites. I know vitualize is coming along but surely it would be nice to have an MMF2 > Flash extension.
I don't know if this is just me but I find flash really hard and expensive (correct me if I am wrong).

    Re: Exporting to Flash

This is a bit of an old topic/idea

and while it would be great -- Francois did look at it once and the conversion from the "click" runtime to the Flash runtime was an incredible amount of work and a very rocky road.

So we won't be seeing this happen anytime soon.
I wish I had some better news but I don't.

So at least we will have Java and Vitalize and later Microsoft Silverlight... who knows after that -- We do have Flash on the wishlist but it looks a very long time off.

    Re: Exporting to Flash

I don't understand why everyone (well, not EVERYONE.) on this website has to declare things stupid or a waste of time. I find it odd and at the same time, frustrating. Of course a flash exporter would be great!! What kind of a goober can't realize that?? If you aren't the one spending your energy and time making this, what difference does it make whether someone else does? I think everything else has already been said. (Except for the fact that wii currently only runs flash. I know, I'm wii obsessed. Nothing wrong with that, right?)
