Seems like an odd request anyway... when Vitalize already supports all MMF features.

Export to Java applet would be nice.

I think it will be most useful because not everyone has Vitalize and when presented with the option to install it they might not want to trust it or even be bothered to download it.
This is especially annoying for website developers who want to include Vitalize files instead of Flash. For example, I'm in the process of redesigning a website for a well known university at the moment. And I would definately like to use vitalize for certain parts. However, the uni won't want it so that every single visitor (bar the ones that use MMF) has to download vitalize before they can view the content.
A flash conversion extension will be very useful for this.
On the otherhand, it's probably best to do those parts in Flash anyway <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I find it ironic that you want MMF to output Flash so that the users won't have to download a browser extension <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Flash, Java, whatever... they all require a download at some point, and not everyone has them. As long as Vitalize has the proper certificates and stuff it shouldn't be any worse than those others. You probably want an HTML version anyway for the users that don't want to download stuff (not a Flash version!)
I wouldn't be upset if MMF could spit out Flash, but I just don't see how it would be such a big deal. Whatever floats your boat <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
