Simple Inventory system using List Boxes

Example for Jayklik. Uses build 241 (CD version). I use the Direction of the list boxes as an alterable variable to select them by.

Ah this examples screws with my head Sarah.
To think of using directions to select a list is so bizzar IMHO and yet so so creative. <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

    Directions <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> A rose by any other name would smell as sweet <img src="/center/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Seriously, though, it is such a simple method. You just have to rename Direction in your head as Alterable Variable A, and there you go.

List boxes are so easy to work with, because you can always see what's going on. Arrays would probably process stuff faster, but they tend to freak out the non-mathematical, and give you debugging headaches.

This is an interesting idea. This is what I call thinking OUTSIDE the (list)box. Thanks, Sarah. I appreciate it. This Idea will definately work.

    Thanks so much, again-

Nice. I like to use different animations instead of directions, but whatever. One question though - why does knife have ammo? <img src="/center/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
