    Loop Index?

Well recently I've been learning about the wonderful world of fastloops but there's one thing I can't figure out, what the heck does the Loop Index do?
I've read a few tutorials that say you can use it to count & keep track of things useful in a RTS-type game but I can't see how this is at all possible threw it.

    Re: Loop Index?

The loop index is used to keep track of where you are in the loop. The loop index will increment by 1 for every iteration of the loop, and reset once the loop is complete.

Example usage: You want to have a "random static" effect on a 32x64 square. How should this be done?

    1) You make it always run loop "X" 32 times.
    2) Loop X runs loop "Y" 64 times.
    3) Loop Y sets the X position of the black/white object to LoopIndex("X") and Y position to LoopIndex("Y").
    4) Loop Y sets the animation to randomly black, white, grey, etc
    5) Loop Y pastes the object into the background

Okay, so it may not be very random - but you get the picture.
