    Not really. It might be a commercial extension, like PowerAppPro, or an internal extension in some project that wouldn't be of any use to other users (Tigs has done some extension like this for TO).

    yes - there are more extensions available that are not made widely available.
    e.g. - we have an acoders hi scoring extension <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

    Which version of VC++ do i need??? version 6 still?? or can i use the newer .net versions??

    You can use the newer versions of VC++, including 2005 Express. The extensions you create, however, will be slightly larger in size than ones created with VC++6. There's a project file for Visual C++ 2005 in the SDK.

    Don't forget, Visual C++ 2005 Express is free until sometime in November I think it is: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/visualc/

    Actually they recently made visual c++ 2005 express free indefinately <img src="/center/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.
