    Snap to grid

I just wondered if it was possible with just math to make an object allways set its possition to XMouse, YMouse but at the same time snap to grid.

I could do it with lots of events like:
if XMouse < 16 set object X to 0 etc.

I was sure there is a way to do it and remember doing it before just cant find the .cca or maybe I just did it another way..

    thanks for any help.

    Always
    Set x to xmouse / 16 * 16
    Set y to ymouse / 16 * 16

    Re: Snap to grid

    You can do:

Set X to XMouse - XMouse mod 32 (or whatever)
Set Y to YMouse - YMouse mod 32

You can also use the EasyGrid object.

    Re: Snap to grid

Exactly how do you use the EasyGrid object? There seems to be no help file with it and I can't find anyway for the active to 'snap' to the grid.

    Re: Snap to grid

What's wrong with just using the x/16 * 16 method?
