    The mixer object that came with TGF and that was ported to MMF uses an old Microsoft API that seems to no longer work on modern versions of windows.

    Maybe you can ask your Dad if you can buy a virus guard? That way you can safely download files without a risk of viruses. Maybe he would sympathise if you tell him you need to download resources for your programs.

    I am sure there are a couple good free virus scanning programs, but the one I have the most experience is with AVG

    yeah i know but my dad is critical about viruses. Especially now. Oh well.

    I second previous comments, haven't had any problems with functioning of AVG. A virus shield is sadly extremely essential nowadays if one wants to keep his/her computer even relatively clean.

    I believe the Clickteam forums are mostly a trustworthy source to obtain reliable information especially if it comes from a moderator/an administrator.
