free C compilers?

Does anyone know any free C/C++ visual compilers that are compatible with the TGF/CnC SDK? I'm new to ext. making, and want to start learning the basics in the TGF/CnC SDK. I apprecaite any help. Thanks .

Visual C++ 2005 Express is compatible with the MMF2 SDK. I don't know any which are compatible with the CNC/TGF SDK, though.

    Robbie is refering to this:

It's free to install until december this year, and I recall that someone said they'd managed to make an extension with it on the old forums (Using Visual C++ Express)

Microsoft announced in April that's it going to be free forever. Also, there's an Express 2005 project file in the MMF2 SDK, so it's very little work to get an extension built in it.

    Re: free C compilers?

Thanks! I have 2005 express edition now, so thanks! Now, though, I have some trouble... I'm not sure how to set up main.cpp. could someone make a screenshot of main.cpp with some example Actions, Conditions, And Expressions? I'm sorry, but I have an extension Idea that I think MANY will like, but I have NO idea how to set up Main.cpp. Thanks!!

    Re: free C compilers?

There's a help file in the SDK which explains how to setup the actions, expressions and conditions.
