Suggestion for the Active Picture Object

It would be nice if the Active Picture Object had a way to display only a portion of the image (kind of like the Paste To Background function lets you specify a rectangle to paste). That way, it would be easy to create spritesheets instead of using a thousand different images. I'm aware the Text Blitter can be used for this, but it seems kind of like a workaround rather than a permanent solution.

Use the overlay object for this <img src="/center/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Re: Suggestion for the Active Picture Object

But I'm using this for active objects. I want the actual active object to have the sprite drawn, and not just have it drawn on some overlay layer. I don't see how adding this functionality to the Active Picture Object could be difficult to do, nor why it wasn't in the object in the first place.
