    Re: SDK

If you download MMF2 SDK, this is accompanied by a CHM documentation and some good examples. <img src="/center/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

    Re: SDK

Yeh I'd like a small detailed article too - the help file included was good but not detailed enough. I've been shown some other articles, but they also don't really teach me how to make an extension step by step.

    Any help is appreciated ^_^

    Re: SDK

Maybe if people took the time to actually write good articles they might have better games to play in the end.

    - Good wiki btw <img src="/center/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

    Re: SDK

Here is how I see it. There are a ton of people who could make AWESOME extensions for MMF2 , but with one catch. They don't know how. If I had a better understanding of the SDK, I'd gladly write a step-by-step instruction. Isn't it worth a couple of hours of work to open up the possibility of totally awesome extensions? The same people have been making extensions forever. Can't one of them take some time and tell the rest of us how to do it?

Hey I believe in exactly what your saying, but more, I recon that if we had great documentation, MMF would be even more powerful. But we need everbodies help here. Not just talk.

So come over to the Click Wiki, we are ready to help you with your step by step instructions project.

    * We have a list of open source extensions.
    * Everything you need to write a great article.
    * We link to other peoples articles too, so its easy to learn from others.
    * Hey you can even start with an outline, do it in dribs and drabs. You don't even have to be a good speller. Other people will come along and fix it up.

Its all waiting for you over here, just type edit and start writing your ideas out.

Hey and anybody can help, so what are you waiting for.

    Re: SDK

I know people release source code and everything - but fact is, the SDK isn't that well commented and it's difficult to go through every file and see what each bit of the code does.

I have been using C++ for years and know I can make some good extensions - but understanding how the SDK works is becoming a chore. I've read through articles and I've read the whole help file but still nothing explains to me how to add conditions, events and stuff.

All current articles released are for MMF1.5 SDK, and I've tried to use it but it still does not help. All I want is an article or guide on:

    - Setting extension name, author .etc
    - Setting and coding conditions, events
    .etc

I just need a lot of help with it please :P
