    .ccn Apppath$

[*]When I build a .mfa as a .ccn and I use the expression "apppath$" it returns the path of the original .mfa.
[*]Also when putting a sub-application into another .mfa, it only draws the frame in the frame editor if the .ccn is in the same directory as its parent .mfa.

Does this mean if I install my .ccn onto another computer "apppath$" will still return the original directory ?

p.s. the bullet points are wierd

    Re: .ccn Apppath$

It will take the relative directory.
Assuming the game is running form "c:\Windows\Temp\Some folder".

    Appdir$ will return "\Windows\Temp\Some folder\"
    Apppath$ will return "c:\Windows\Temp\Some folder"

If the cnn runs on another pc in "c:\games\some folder\"

    Appdir$ will return "\games\some folder\"
    Apppath$ will return "c:\games\some folder\"

If you want a static path, in this case you would still want "c:\Windows\Temp\Some folder", include a file with your installation containing that path or hard-code it in MMF.

    That is not my problem

[]When I build a .mfa as a .ccn and I use the expression "apppath$" it returns the path of the original .mfa.[/]... rather than the current path of the .ccn

MMF2 can't save files as .ccn files yet can it? When I go to build, I can only save as .exe.
    Probably would explain your problem.

    Re: .ccn Apppath$

You can save as a .ccn in MMF2, you just need to goto the project/programs setting tab on the properties box and change the 'Build Type' to 'Internet Application' which will then save it as a .ccn when you go to File -> Build -> Application.

As for your problem raytrace, I agree that is odd. Won't be surprised if it is indeed a bug.

MMF2 can create .ccn files now. You just can't run them in a vitalized web site.
ccn files are also used in sub-apps.

see the wiki here for info

Well you learn something new every day ^_^
I've been waiting for CCN for about a week and didn't have a clue about this.

    Thanks ^_^
