Run another program in game screen while it plays

Is there a way to run a program made with something else (such as GameMaker) in the background of a TGF game in its view screen ? If not, then an extension for this would be nice.

You could have so it opens the background program when you click to start the game, or after cutscenes play, or however wherever needed.

Ok, one example of its use could be for a DAY-to-NIGHT effect. If that effect is being run by the GameMaker program then that's one less thing to be using up actives and one less slowing factor for TGF to endure.
    Am I right ?

But is there a way to make it appear in the TGF program's view screen ? .. heh ..

Simple answer: No, you can't draw a different application inside another, and definately not keep transparency doing it. Not possible by an extension either.

Day-to-night effect is even worse, because that would have to read from your game's window as well to blend the night colour with your game.

And lastly: This is the MMF2 forum, you should really be talking about MMF2 not TGF <img src="/center/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
