    play sample when another sample has finished?

    I'm trying to construct a dialog application using audio samples. How can i play a sample when another sample has finished? Using the 'specific sample is not playing' doesn't work well. It seems the sample is multiple triggered then. Actually, i'm looking for a 'specific sample has finished' condition, or something like that.
    Does anyone have a workaround for this?

    Once a specific sample is not playing, it continues 'not playing'. (Try putting a counter on the frame, and having an action to add 1 to the counter when the specific sample is not playing)

    What you need to do is detect the first instance when the sample is 'not playing'. To do this, simply add a condition from the Special Object, Limit Conditions -
    '+ Only one action when event loops'

    So you would have an event that looks like this:
    'Mysound is not playing'
    '+ Only one action when event loops':
    'Play sample newsound'

    You'd almost certainly need to put that event in an inactive event group, because it will also be true on Start of Frame.

    If you merely want to loop the sound then you can use the loop action
