    Alterable Strings and Alterable Values limit :(

    Hi "Clickteam" and congratulations for the good work on MMF2.

    I was testing a Demo of MMF2 to see if it is worth the buy and when i entered Alterable values and Stings in my objects i saw that each object has only!!! 10 alterable strings and only about 25 alterable Values!!! For the most games maybe this is enough, but i'm trying to make a sort of Collectible Card Game and i need a lot of this alterable values on each object to faster create the A.I. So i went fast on this limits


    Is there any way i can increase already this values to more than 10 alterable stings and about 25 alterable values?

    Can it be included in a future patch?

    Is there any object similar to Datagrid to use in MMf2?


    Well, if you can increase this variables i'll sure be a future buyer

    You can use the object's fixed value as an index to store data relating to an object instance in a dedicated storage object.

    When you learn a little more about MMF2's way of dealing with objects, you learn that you can (for example) create multiple "Named Variable Objects" and then "attach" it to your active object by for example storing a reference to the object in one of the alterable values.

    When you create your Active Object, then create a Named Variable Object along with it as well. In that same event, set the alterable value A or any other to the fixed value of the Named Variables Object. In each event when you want to get access to those additional variables and strings, you have to make this little check:

    Fixed value of [Named Variable Object] = Alterable Value A( "YourActiveObject" )

    You can then get and set all the variables you need.
    It's a little extra efford to get nearly unlimited values and strings, and this method can be good practice for future projects when you want to "link" objects together in some way

    There are many other possiblilities than Alterable Values - that's the flexibility of MMF2 for you

    The answer is no, for the moment we do not plan to add new variables in the objects. Sorry!
