    Iso Map editor

With this map editor you can take square pics and makes them into isometric tiles.
You can change the tile size and amount to your needs.

I had an idea to make this as a open source map editor for everyone to use for there games but got stuck on the save\load area.
I can save it I think but the loading is still a problem.
If anyone has any adea on how to load it let me know .

Cool the code for my 2D Map Editor on my Network might help. You would need to add an extra loop for height...

    Re: Iso Map editor

Wow. Hmm... One thing itTwo things it would need is... Overlapping and tiles that aren't 32*32. All of them are 32*32 by default, but for me to use this it needs to be: some 32*32, some 64*64 and some 128*128. I know this could be made by using more than one tile, but that wouldn't be a possibility in this case. You don't wanna know.

As for overlapping, i mean tiles that aren't pasted to the ground. There aren't many houses that are completely flat in the world. They're so inconvenient.

I understand completely if you won't do anything about any of this, but it would be seriously nice if you did.

    Sincerely, Joel_Yeah

    Re: Iso Map editor

As soon as i get some time i'll be carring on with this.

Good idea using different size tiles ,I will look into that.

My idea is to still make some hight;vetical structures;and active objects.
Will look much better once a plugin like overlay or alpha channel were available ,active picture very limited.

Still need someone to help me save and load the maps.
The saving will be something like wright x,y pos to array including the path of pic.
then in the load = pic to x,y paste pic to background.
But I suck when it comes to loops. Some help will be appretiated.
