    Help with file

I have a huge problem, somehow the game I was working on got corrupt and now the character sprite actions are replaced by some kind of red ball, and says "bad object" on name.
I would want to recover the file becouse I spend some time on it.

If someone would want to help me, please reply here, and I will send you a mail with the file.
    Thanks a lot.

    Re: Help with file

What is the version of TGF / MMF you are using? The Bad object bug was corrected in build 242.
Don't you keep backups of your work, specially if it is as important as you say? The Bad object bug is a really bad bug that corrupts the application and cannot be recovered.
If you use build 242, can you recall what you did before the bug occured?

    Re: Help with file

I was using only MMF. You are right, I was stupid not having backups.
And I was using the build 241, not the last one.
I guess it's time to start again, or do something else...no problem, thanks to all.e

    Re: Help with file

Sorry for you, it already happened to me. The program you will write now will be better and more efficient!
For backups, there is a simple way of keeping backups of you files, in the preference/general dialog box.
Check the autobackup feature, and enter the number of copies you want. Each time you save your application, it will keep a list of the last saved applications on your hard drive. Simple and VERY safe.
