I don't think so. You could use specular brushes etc., but the new one is easier to understand. It's like the one in TGF1, but better, of course!!
Hehe, i think we disagree then, at that point. If it would only be resizeable ( like resizing the the animation list and frame list.) Because when i have an object with 20 animations and like 64+ frames its terrible working. The brushes are nice tough.

Perhaps I am stupid, but the "storyboard object"?
I can't find this object - is this the storyboard view?
Or where do I find it?

That object's the "Storyboard Controls", the chessboard-looking icon in the event editor.

    Yikes.
I feel stupid now. I guess you should expect that someone who has been using Clickteam software since Klik & Play should know that...

I tended to call it the "Frame object" myself - I didn't even know its real name until I checked.

MMF2 Developer: Problem with List View object in R243. When numerous rows are entered and must be viewed by scrolling, the rows above the scrolling action will disappear when scrolled and can only be seen by clicking on the blank rows one at a time. Reinstalled R242 and the problem goes away.

    Re: MMF2 Build #243 (BETA)

Good update, but the next patch really needs the following:

Make an option that disables having more than one type of object in qualifiers so you can use them in global events. This will solve MMF's biggest problem which is code repeated every single frame. Making it an option will still make it fully backwards compatible like I know you guys need to do.

Here's the thing, no one uses multiple objects in one qualifier, because there's no benefit. Everyone, however, can get benefit from not repeating code every frame.

    Re: MMF2 Build #243 (BETA)

agreed. The current most lacking area i think in mmf, is making rather large-scale games in an effective way. Things like alterable value names not showing up in global editor, and qualifiers not usable in global and so forth. Also the rather cumbersome handling of graphics if all you really want to do it refer to files in filesystem, (by for example using active picture) you loose immense performance.

However, i know some of these things are planned to be fixxed, like external graphics for actives support, but to the other things i seem to constanly hear the reply: "its impossible, how is mmf going to know which object you mean?"... Make it possbile! Im going to steal part of the slogan from Zeb (if i remember if correctly): "With some lateral thinking!".

Yes its possible! I can name a couple of ways:

A: Let the Author CHOOSE which object you mean.
B: Pick the objects from the first frame.
C: As said in the above post, disable some functionalty to gain other functionality with an option.
