    Help with edrt.exe and stdrt.exe

How do i remove edrt.exe and stdrt.exe from running the process of my programs and games, and just have myname.exe instead.

I noticed the proccess is myname.exe and either edrt.exe or stdrt.exe next to it.

I don't think those appear when you build an EXE

Re: Help with edrt.exe and stdrt.exe

edrt.exe is the name of the runtime when you run your application from MMF2. You cannot change it.

stdrt.exe is the name of the runtime for compressed stand-alone applications (in this case the stand-alone application is an auto-extractable file that extracts the runtime to a temp directory and runs it).

If you unselect the "Compress runtime" option in the properties, there will be only one process, yourname.exe (your application will be a little larger, around 350 Kb).

Re: Help with edrt.exe and stdrt.exe

Thanks, i see now that the exe may have to be a little larger as people ask about the other exe and what they do.

    Thank You
