This is just a preliminary bug report, I havent investigated it much yet.
My current project uses a Mode 7 object to do a Star Wars text crawl.
Once the object has finished, I scroll away from it and eventually destroy the object to conserve memory.
The possible bug occurs with destroying the Mode 7 object.
While testing the app, the runtime crashes when exiting, my current workaround is simple, I just do not 'Destroy' the object and the runtime will exit clean.
I did not build a test app to see if the issue remains with a full project build.
I will investigate this possible bug further when time permits.
